Precision Orthopedics, Measurable Outcomes
We believe that the best patient care is built on a foundation of precision, experience, and quality data. Our dedication to comprehensive, patient-centric care means that every decision made about your hip health should be backed by shared surgeon and patient decision-making and the latest in proven technological advancements. We aren't just focused on treating your joint; we are focused on delivering measurable, long-lasting results that get you back to living your life.
A Legacy of Data-Driven Insights
Our commitment to excellence is deeply rooted in history. We proudly participate in a comprehensive total joint registry that has been collecting joint replacement data since 1969.
For our patients, this means that our surgical approaches and recommendations aren't just based on trends—they are backed by direct participation in what is now over half a century of continuous tracking, research, and proven insights.
Precision Hip Arthroscopy
For patients undergoing joint preservation procedures, we utilize advanced imaging data, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and highly detailed 3-dimensional scans, to map out the unique anatomy of your hip. This allows us to plan your procedure with potentially improved accuracy, better addressing the factors involved in your hip pain. Hip arthroscopy is performed using modern, contemporary techniques including labral repair or reconstruction, femoral osteochondroplasty (cam decompression) and capsular closure or capsulorrhaphy.
The Direct Anterior Approach
When a total hip replacement (arthroplasty) is recommended, we utilize the Direct Anterior Approach. This modern, minimally invasive technique may promote a smoother and faster recovery as well as a lower rate of dislocations.
Minimally Invasive & Tissue-Sparing: We use a muscle- and capsular-sparing technique, which means we work between your muscles rather than cutting through them, preserving the natural tissues surrounding your joint.
Cosmetic Incisions: Whenever possible, we utilize a minimally invasive incisions. Additionally "bikini" incisions are used when indicated, which centers the scar near or within the natural crease of the groin, offering potentially improved cosmetic results as well as healing.
Surgeon-Enabling Technology: During your hip replacement, we utilize tools, including real-time fluoroscopy (X-ray imaging). This technology can help optimize implant positioning and leg lengths before you even leave the operating room.
Tracking Your Success: Measurable Outcomes
Our dedication to you doesn't end when your surgery is over. We prospectively collect health and recovery outcomes for all of our patients.
By closely tracking your progress before, during, and after your procedure, we can help ensure that we are delivering on our promise of exceptional patient results. Furthermore, this real-time data allows us to provide highly accurate, data-driven counseling to future patients. When we tell you what to expect from your recovery, it is based on the real, measurable success of the patients who came before you.
Your hip health matters. Experience the difference that precision technology and a dedication to patient outcomes can make in your recovery.
